What do you like about working at Amdocs?

"Like being married to a nymphomaniac -- it's exhilarating for the first few months. There were lots of challenging and high visibility projects. For instance, I merged Nextel into Sprint before an audience of 100 executives."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Fasten your seat belt; it'll be a wild ride. After working for Amdocs, other companies will seem like you're vacation."

What don't you like about working at Amdocs?

"Management are Indian good old boys who treat workers like galley slaves. Lurch from one crisis to the next. Will move you and family to North Dakota or Israel on one day's notice. Default office language is Hindi."

"The people at CCC are great, and it is nice to live in a smaller town."

"Upper management should make clear to middle management that backstabbing and similar forms of politically motivated dishonesty will not be tolerated, and terminate middle managers who just don't get it."

"A fair amount of autonomy on the projects I was working on. Friendly co-workers and management."

"All you need to know are the basics of .NET programming. The interview was not very difficult."

"I found the talent level to be a little lacking, and management didn't show much interest in recruiting quality developers."

"Don't be afraid to spend the money it takes to get good developers and managers for them."

"This company is a fast-paced environment, I would say the management is competent. If you want to have a better experience with this company in terms of gaining knowledge in web developing, apply to the software development division, not in a programming division."

What don't you like about working at Decipher Inc.?

"Limited growth opportunities in terms of maximizing the potential web programming/developing experiences since they have a department that customized their own language using XML & Python and all you have to do as a programmer is used those defined tags and commands. No job security."

"Management was inclined to overpressure sometimes 16 hours continuous were not enough!"

"Hire more hands to compensate for extra work during peak business instead of taking all the work from the overworked work force."
