"There wasn't any negatives but at the time I had to commute from home to Staunton"

"I learned a trade and was given opportunities to develop my management skills along with relationships that I made in the ten years I worked for TIMET."

"Company made too many changes in my tenure, and job security was day to day."

"A poorly run dying company in a dying industry. Run away, run away very FAST."
What do you like about working at Southern Pride Catfish?
"I can't think of a thing. They lure you in with great promises then when you've moved and trapped treat you like garbage."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't be lured in and blinded by the dinners, promises for a brighter future and smooth lines that things look bad now but they are pulling it out. Look at the real condition of the facility and the state of the business when making your decision."
What don't you like about working at Southern Pride Catfish?
"Its a sinking company in a sinking industry and the people at the top are attempting to make up for their poor decisions by running employees and Jr. management into the ground. They are too blind to see the obvious solutions and only seek scapegoats. That is why they cannot retain the good people they lure in."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Re-evaluate yourselves and stop attempting to blame pre-existing conditions on new employees. Simply producing a higher volume of a poor product will not save you."

"upper management, very unorganized and like to point fingers at others."

"get serious, and involve your workers in decision making, also listen and be open minded instead of knowing everything and your way is the one and only way."
