"I have been working in Philips for past 8 months and my colleagues or team members are awesome and glad to be part of Philips Ontario team."
"Great company with outstanding benefits. Work/life balance could use some work, but overall the opportunity is great."
"I love working for Philips Healthcare."
"Good place to work, Management is transparent."
"I've worked for Philips for 2 years. Philips has a good life-work balance and good employee benefits. The environment is friendly. But the chance to get promoted is usually low."
"Philps ECR was a fantastic place to work, providing autonomy, resources and a focus on people development."
"Really effective work culture. Got to work in the union with other teams such as the Hardware team, Firmware team and the Quality engineers. I learned the hierarchy of workflow in a big company, which will help me in the future to make things work smoothly."
"Management needs to be more stable and dedicated to one vision and try to realize it before swerving back and forth in different directions."
"Very unprofessional company. Doesn't listen to any input from the people working the job. Holds you hostage in your job because they don't want to replace you and another person for the vacancy you want to move to. They would rather steal someone from another Philips division for the position."
"This company is one of the biggest healthcare companies with buildings in Andover, Bothel, and Singapore."
"Philips is a great company to work for. I enjoyed 23 years with this company and would go back if the right opportunity was presented. Right now they are going through change so it is volatile right now, but this is in part due to Obamacare legislation and changes in the sales model. The employees truly care about the company and I have a passion for what we provide to healthcare workers and patients."
"Excellent company. Nice working atmosphere and perfect condition for work."
"I have worked for Philips for approximately 10 years. I have enjoyed the challenges. The environment is very engaging."
"Benefits are above average, compensation is slightly below. Work is up and down. Sometimes you're swamped and working a lot, other times you're slow. Beware of the double talk from management. Resource allocation is haphazard, limited, and doesn't set projects up for success. There are no repercussions for poor performance. Management sees value in having people with very high skill-sets performing the activities of people with lower skill-sets. Essentially your talents are wasted."
