"I didn't like upper management. The VP ran the operation like the good old days. If you weren't in the clique you weren't on the team."

"I would suggest a change in the upper management of the Pacific Region."

"The lack of organization, the inability to plan properly, the deadlines that pop up out of nowhere, the 'we need this done 5 minutes ago', the lack of assistance, the lack of perception on why my job needs help versus anyone else. The lack of respect for my opinion after 10 years"

"Hire a real CEO, hire a new controller dedicated to the company ,establish SOME formal guidelines regarding how long people work, it's aj ob not a country club"

"The hours and distance from home to work, I like some of the folks I work with."

"Make sure you negotiate what you want and don't be afraid to ask for it. Be sure you know what will be expected of you before you agree to the job."

"The communication between departments, the way the say the want to become bigger and better and accomplish many new and exciting things and then walk away from a meeting feeling like it was all talk for the meeting."

"manage your departments better, be the leader of your group, if someone does something they are not supposed to do the reprimand them as needed don't try to be every bodies best friend, it is work."

"This has and continues to be a challenging but rewarding experience. I work with a team of hard-working people from my bosses to my indirect reports. We are there to get the job done and we use team work to get it accomplished in a timely manner."

"This company leans toward a candidate who is a team player. We look for straight forward and hard working individuals."
What don't you like about working at Pet Supplies Plus?
"I only have one complaint about this company. I have been working 12+ hours(and at times 24 hour shifts) and every weekend since the end of July. I don't mind extra hours but I do not see a reduction in hours coming any time soon."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My only suggestion would be that sometimes the time frame with which a task should be accomplished has been too limited to achieve the desired outcome."

"Overall it was a great company, however, my division was lead by an individual that I didn't see eye to eye with."

"Please implement a personal objective structure for each employee so that he/she can be graded and appraised accordingly. This way you don't have to take one persons word for each individuals progress and experience level."
