"The environment was professional and at the same time friendly, the group of people I worked with were very caring and focus was on customer satisfaction. I would recommend my department as a good place to hang out."

What don't you like about working at Motorola Solutions?

"The attendance policies were not very flexible at all, I commuted using public transportation... 3 buses and the train. I usually arrived 25 minutes early, but if just one of my connections was off I would arrive up to 30 minutes late! I would stay beyond my quitting time almost daily regardless of when I arrived, but they didn't consider that and canned me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The management team in my department were very good when it came to handling their employees, they wore many hats to keep the shop running smooth, they were not perfect by a long shot but I would say they were fair and performed their duties well... so keep on doing what you're doing!"

"Absurd hours. 3:00 AM conference calls became very hard."

"Need to make changes quickly to adapt to the changing environment. Many times stringent processes were followed rather than developing new processes for the changing markets."
