"Some managers, not only at Motorola but in many companies, prefer to live in a bubble and ignore reality when it can hurt their short term comfort zone lives. Managers need to go step on the streets, sweat, to get to know their customers, what they need, who do business on their behalf, understand their expectations and help them to grow their business not only to watch nice animated power point presentations."
