"Gateway Educational Foundation was a small non-profit company that had no direction or true leadership. Ultimately their lack of business experience and lack of resources lead to a loss of staff, network and clients."

"The management need to utilize their position within the civil rights community and promote a civil rights college tour. This will allow more visibility and a way to generate money from sponsors."

"I enjoyed the multi-unit responsibility, with responsibility for eight different operations (and managers) as it was highly conducive to the discovery of best practices."

"One must clearly question what a position's expectations are to be, and establish commitments for training from the start. It's a very fast-moving environment."

"Do not work with Gateway Educational Foundation. They do not have the resources needed to complete projects."

"There was poor management and no direction. Their lack of direction ultimately lost major sponsors and stopped the progress that I had worked hard developing."

"Ray Noorda believed you should have a lay off ever year to get rid of the excess people. It caused havoc with employees"

"They have struggled with their marketing and sales directions. They have to learn how to do that or they will go away"

"The collegiate setting. The diversity of the staff and students. Had a great vision and business model"

"The location and size of Amarillo was not what I was accustomed to. It was a difficult transition"

"Be more educated and concerned with some programs under your direction. More support from the chair would have helped tremendously"

"I worked autonomously where I was able to initiate my own marketing ideas that resulted in improved sales."

"Know your stuff is my only tip when interviewing. The people there where down to earth and knowledgeable."
What don't you like about working at Taylor & Francis?
"My department was located in another state where I was stationed in NYC so at times it was difficult with weekly conference calls. But as long as I showed results I was left pretty much alone. But I am a team player, it's just that in this case the nature of how the department was set up caused me to work alone."

"My only suggestion would have been that the current project management system (IT System) needed to be more friendly user."
