"Supportive environment for trying new ideas, all opinions welcomed. The work and ideas are truly cutting-edge, the company is highly respected in its industry, and I feel like I'm contributing to something important. The CEO pushes you to do your best, but respects your limits."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Your contributions will be rewarded, but be aware that this is a small company (currently 11 people) and it has rather low turnover, so there isn't as much room for growth as at large companies with a longer hierarchy and/or higher turnover."
What don't you like about working at Menssana Research?
"I hate working remotely! I feel disconnected from my fellow employees, even though we do have a weekly meeting as a company via Skype. I don't generally talk to others for the rest of the week as part of my work, so I just don't see people very often, which makes for a lonely situation. I'm a very social person."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The only thing I would change is not having the CEO shy away from confrontation; sometimes certain employees take advantage of the CEO's good nature, and they could use clearer boundaries from him."

"Don't be afraid to be innovative and creative. It is a great company to work for if you have the patience."

"I'm not very confident in the future of the company. The industry as a whole may be in for a rough ride over the next year or so."

"Learn from history, pay more attention to competitors and be a leader in the industry."

"This is a great place for rookies and new comers since they are given a great deal of responsibility but advancement will be limited."

"Quality was an after thought. We reported on revenue and profit every two weeks and not once in fives years about quality or client satisfaction."

"Take a customer first approach and avoid the problems faced by companies like Goldman/Sachs."

"Keep changing responsibility, classic method sometimes and budget approval process is not well defined."

"More assignment in advance. Need to show big picture with inspirational final goal with all team."

"I loved working will all types of business owners and learning about so many types of companies. I gained a wealth of experience in business management, broadcast media, social media, digital media and searh engine marketing."

"learn strategy over basic tactic in media buying and be ready to work with extensive variety of clientele."
What don't you like about working at Grassroots Marketing?
"We built the company quickly and grew to two locations with in three years however our infrastructure was not recession proof and we were purchased by another company in Knoxville."

"Fred is an excellent mentor and leader of the company."

"It was a 6 month contract position with MIC. I enjoyed the experience of working there since I was dealing with people as end users of our product on daily bases and I learnt a lot."

"Have sufficient knowledge of the industry in which MIC operates."

"Every thing about the company was great and the only challenge we had was with our shipment time which some times took longer than we expected."

"Please be aware of the competition offers while facing the interview."

"Schneider Electric has more revenue from the Power and Building Automation business than from the Industrial Automation business. That has led to more of a Product sales mindset than a complete solution sales."

"There should be a more equitable balance between the Product sales approach and the Solution sales approach."
