"No communication, last minute scheduling, and a complete lack of work life balance."
"Good and reliable. The human relation is good and the salary is not bad."
"I’ve worked for Kroger Stores for 6 and a half months as a produce clerk. The job at the beginning was honestly a relaxed job with low pay, along with needing better on the floor training. This position would require a lot of communication between co-workers, and understanding how to operate the area by yourself with tons of customers wondering where things are. A lot of misunderstanding evolves around this position with co workers and management. Without the drama and selfishness, I just this place for anyone who needs a first job or anyone that’s into retail that has no problem with low pay."
"Good company with good, understanding leadership."
"I worked at store 549 (located on Clinton highway) and my experience there was absolutely terrible! Managers are rude and hateful especially Mike Boles and Mike Slaten. They will yell at you and threaten you if you call in sick. I do NOT recommend people to work here unless they can handle the rudeness and hatefulness!"
"I have worked at Kroger .for almost 2 and 1/2 years now. I love my bosses and my coworkers. The only thing that I dislike is that I have learned everything there is to learn at my store. I have requested to work in different areas to increase my knowledge of the store but we are just too busy for me to train. I would love a work environment where there are many opportunities to move up and learn more."
"I've worked for this organization for over 18 years. I've have met a lot of great people that I worked with and worked for, with great dept of knowledge that drive peer to peer accountability and driving sales and profits for the organization. I have acquired many leadership skills by working side by side with them and getting great results over the years."
"I worked for kroger for several years and even though upper management was very open and had great relationships the direct management was the issue"
"I worked for Kroger back when i was in high school, and the work load they gave me was boring, but gave me good experience working with people in a retail setting. I ended up leaving because of extracurriculars but it is a job i look back on fondly."
"I’ve worked at Kroger for 8 years. It is a sound company that fosters change. It is experiencing cutting edge technology which allows it to stay relevant in today’s world."
"Great experience"
"I enjoyed my time working for the Kroger company."
"It is a very good company to work for and a very friendly environment. I just would like to have a job that pertains to my degree."
"no comments - I don't know why is this mandatory field."
"I've worked for King Soopers since 2012. Overall they have been able very flexible with my schedule when needed. Communication with upper management could be better because there were times where we were left in the dark on matters that concern us. Communication with immediate supervisors was clear because they were someone that you would see almost every shift."
