"All levels of management are untrained in labor andemployment laws. They blatantly discriminate, harass, bully, intimidate, and use cronyism to promote employees. Personal bias are used to hire,fire, promote, and transfer employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Complete house cleaning needs to occur in the Southwest Division. From the CEO to the individual store managers. Need to assign HR specialist to each district. District managers, store managers, assistant store managers and all other supervisors must be required to attend 40 hrs of EEO training every six months. The union contract needs to be renegotiated to provide employees with more safe guards."

"Will be difficult to have a life outside of work. If you have a family, nearly impossible."

"No work-life balance, Very few upper managers really concerned about your development."

"Think about how you want to live your life, if you plan on weekends off and a family consider, trash collection before this."

"It is not a 8-5 M-F job. You will always be working when family is off, your kids have activities, or holidays (except Thanksgiving & Christmas). You work for a union that does not work for or with you except control industry wages, almost as bad as working for Walmart."

"Take care of your people, pay them a living wage or give benefits that encourages employees to be with their families when activities and togetherness is expected."

"Don't waste your time. Go out and look for a real job where you can be respected as a person."

"The management is undertrained on how to talk to employees. I work there for 16 years and watch it get worse every year until I finaaly had to leave."

"Learn how to talk to and treat people. Your employees are what makes a store and a compant, not hte people to sit in the offices and act like they have a clue as to what is best for a store. Work in a store and see how it really is."

"The company is a good soild company. Be open minded and be willing to work hard and long hours. Don't expect them to understand why you need off for any reason."

"Get to know your store managment team, like to old days. They are the ones who keep the stores going. Even if you don't know there names look at their name tags and pretend you do."
