What do you like about working at Champps Americana?
"The concepts had a great kitchen but no real structure at the store level, the GM was promoted to GM and fired, very drinking way of thinking, if you did not drink together you were a outsider, most all of the employee's came from the same concept that closed down and if you were not with them you were a outsider, not structure in the way the operation was ran."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"open the line of talking to each other and the hour/way that people are treated by the management staff"

"corporate was very organized. franchisee was a joke....bad joke"

"be careful, get all compensation terms in writing, do not rely on their bonus program, full of loopholes meant to benefit owners. the gm at the warrington location is two faced, incompetent and has been black listed by numerous corporate entities due to his reputation as slime ball.I spent 3 years within this organization as a high level manager and was blown away by there double standards."
What don't you like about working at Houlihan's?
"poorly organized. supported managers that were detrimental to overall morale of staff and management. double standards throughout policies. lack of support, training and long term vision"

"fire general manager at warrington and sell business to owners that are customer driven"

"Be ready to work hard and learn a lot. Set a goal to be a manager in 3 - 6 months."

"I loved the travelling and working with a variety of different people,I learned alot of new ways to how people work.Some good,some not so good"

"I'm a firm believer that if you take care of your people,treat them w/respect,they will do almost anything you ask them to,I know I did."

"I would say that at some locations,ideas that corp.wanted to implement were not followed very well,and it sorta put me in a bad position,byt,hey,they were signing the paychecks so.."

"There was a line drawn between the front and back of house,w/little to no interaction between G.M & K.M."

"I enjoyed to volume. I also injoyed the love all serve all quality they had. I also enjoyed working to achieve a profit."

"The company took a different path then mine. The love all serve all quality started being lost in the corporate structure."

"Keep an open mind have a plan A,B and C when walking in the door."
