"Get anything you are told about your responsibilities in the position in writing. Watch your back if hired."

"Too many hours, zero training. Not enough time to take your holidays even after they actually occur (which would be normal for retail)."

"At least a week of training for all management positions before taking over/opening a store."

"The product is very saleable. Quality, selection, price was very good. Customer base is middle to upper class professionals. Easy to maintain stores. Visual directives easy to follow."

"Be your self and answer questions honestly. Do your homework and ask pertinent questions."

"Very promotional driven. Sales overlap each other and are confusing to customer and staff. Career paths are discussed and promised and then those career paths never materialize. Open door policy is not welcomed as is stated. Grudges and retaliation is harbored with middle and upper management"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promote from with-in the organization. When you make promises for career growth follow through with those promises. Cut down on promotions to ensure better response from consumers. Change buying habits at corporate buying office to bring in new patterns and colors in all departments."
