"Promotions and tenure should be based on the performance of the employee."

"The ability to watch student's grow in their language learning and achieve their life goals."

"Be professionally dressed. One should learn how to have a false front and maintain it."
What don't you like about working at Berlitz Languages?
"Too long hours, to be available from 7am-9p 6 days per week is ridiculous. Extremely low pay for amount of time invested. Not honest in payment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Restructure how teachers are motivated, graded and supported. Many did not care for the student's learning or speaking correctly. The current pay system does not reward excellence nor exceeding established goals. There is no growth and the pay system consistently produced wrong paycheck amounts (much lesser than hours actually worked)."

"You must put in a lot of energy into your classes and always show good character in front the students because you represent a company that has a great reputation for what they do"

"The manager wasn't too interested in taking the time to speak with the instructors about the work they were doing."

"Encourage instructors constantly and acknowledge that the work they do is not just difficult, but appreciated"

"To invest in their instructors and grant them benefits that they are able to take a vacation and holidaypay."

"It's not a paying job its something that every person that gets a brown belt needs to do as part of their journey to black belt"

"Travel, paid weekly, all expenses paid, local and if you live more than 60 miles away from your training site your paid all expenses including a rent a car"

"If in Detroit, beware of the lead instructors! Their a father/ daughter team and you won't get ahead"

"Lead trainer back stabs other instructors to make herself look better. She feels threaten that others mill bump her out of that position if she gives the CEO a good heads up"

"To check out lead instructors and make sure their for real and not just a impressive interview but to follow up and question other instructors on the lead instructors in private"

"Travel, weekly pay, paid expenses, easy work, and the pay is good"

"Beware of lthe lead trainer in Detroit, she's a back stabbing to benefit from and she'll destroy your name before you can blind just so you don't advance and threaten her job title"
What don't you like about working at Ameritraining?
"Leader trainers are very unprofessional, she swears, talks drugs, sex etc. shops online, direct the class into gossip, side tracks the, into her non relatated topics she wants to discuss, gossips to other instructors on how bad other instructors are just to make herself look good. She feels threaten that the newer instructors will push her out of that job title and shell loose power. She's report to the main office on other instructors feeling them in on how they perform and I assure you their all bad in her eyes, and the main office acts on her comments without any chance of defending yourself."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Make sure when picking a lead instructor that their just that and not one that cusses, swears, talks about drugs her husband does, and one that would stay off the shopping web sites"

What do you like about working at Gravitec Systems?
"I enjoyed the other instructors and my work group. We had a lot of fun on the road. They are focused on what they do and what it done right, so I was happy that we didn't have a bunch of slackers in the group."

"This is a fun job. If you enjoy teaching and traveling, you will enjoy this."
What don't you like about working at Gravitec Systems?
"The travel schedule can be tough. When the custyomer wants a course, we go and many times that screws up your personal schedule."

"Do what you can to have a more predictable travel lschedule."

"It's a blast teaching game development, I get to create all the assignments and type of games that my students create in the class. The classes are small, the computer hardware is fast"

"As part of the interview you have to do a teaching demo, so make it fun."

"People, I love working with all the people at my campus. This is the reason I have stayed at the company as long as I have."

"I think there is to much micromanagement of faculty and no opportunities or support for doing research and development."

"This is a state run facility so make sure that you are very to the point about any legal questions."

"There is no room for growth or pay increases and limited budgets."

"Increase pay for employees. Upgrade all of the facilities. Do a better job of employee retention"
