The method of education, frequently text, limits the personal touch with many people, especially students, and I find that to be sad, but necessary in our technical world. You just learn to convey your personality differently."

"Was not for me. You would have to have wanted to teach and mayenjoy it. It was not for me. I was from industry and wanted to teach what was needed to get a good paying job. Teaching is related to following outdated and sometimes inaccurate textbook material. The change in technology is rapid and daily. Textbooks take years to write and get published, they then have to get used for many years or many semesters to justify the expense. This is what bothers me about high tech education."
