"Do your due diligence. Understand the brand. Remember it's a bank. Longevity is ruled by performance and consistent DDA."

What don't you like about working at HSBC?

"On the local branch level however, some of the minds unfortunately were very provincial, with the fear, eavesdropping and backstabbing that is pre-requisite with people not secure in their own skin or position."

"Learn to think outside the box. In a challenged economy narrow realistic expectations without narrowing the vision or the mission. Continue to nurture diamonds in the rough. Respond to new ideas and concepts. Keep in mind, It's still a people business!"
