"Do your best to avoid working for Hill-Rom in Austin and Round Rock, Texas. The asset manger (AM) of the mentioned locations is grossly unprofessional and highly incompetent. This person fails to properly implement the service contract and management is unapologetic for its unprofessional negligence. Each office is notorious for its under performance, unprofessional staff, and broken beds/equipment. Additionally the AM habitually hires unskilled candidates with limited critical thinking skills, poor work ethic, and highly questionable commonsense. Hired employees are customarily NOT trained to understand the importance of equipment decontamination, documentation, and inventory management. Inexperienced employees are secretly promoted and given special favor by the AM while qualified employees are deliberately overlooked. Needless to say, this creates a negative perception of favoritism, mistrust, and unethical business practice. Here are some additional facts about the Austin, TX management: 1) The management style of the current asset manager (AM) is extremely toxic. 2) Females candidates in their 20s receive the best treatment. All others, such as men, women, older adults, will not be valued or appreciated. 3) Employees frequently have their schedules changed without advanced notice or prior consideration. 4) The asset and human resource managers fail to return employees' calls or respond to emails. 5) Managerial support is completely absent and is grossly irresponsible. 6) Staff turnover is extremely high and continuous. 7) Management does not deliver on its commitments to its staff and hospital business partners."

"Hill-Rom was a good fit for my plastics expertise, and they stretched me to learn precision machined steel components and complex electro-mechanical assemblies for class 1 and 2 medical devices. I also stretched my arms across the globe to work with and lead cross functional teams and to set up new product manufacturing processes."

"Hill-Rom was a great company to for. I had a great manager! I went from being an IV specialist to becoming the Safe Patient Handling expert and educator for Hill-Rom at Stanford. I had been an IV specialist for 15 years and was looking for a challenge. I was out of my comfort zone, but it helped me grow and I had the opportunity to work some of the best caregivers in the nation."
