"I don't like increased responsibility with not enough hours to cover projects. There is not enough burden busters."

"Add more payroll to the store. This will increase sales. The staffing matrix does not match increase and decrease in sales."

"Owner is greedy self centered , runs company like medieval village. Must call him MR at all times. Deep south 1950s attitude. Even as GM had to hold his suitcases ect, very poor views of his employees"

"Expect low wages and ambiguous directions from the middle and upper management people."

"Very little support and direction from upper management at the end of my time with them other than, your numbers suck, make them better."

"Listen to the back bones of the organization, the employees."

"I like building the business and customer retention. The holidays are wonderful. Santa time!!"

"Get all the info on health benefits and holidays off."

"There are only 2 holidays off a year, and employee benefits are off."

"It is a great company with impressive aspirations to grow. Unfortunately, the time line for growth is not at the pace anticipated early on."

"My staff. Hours are not that bad. I enjoy talking with the customers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Negotiate for longer and more pay guarantees. The recruiters will lie. They are not a typical recruiter who is looking out for you but more for Titlemax. I found out someone I was training (once I became a GM) that my trainee was making 7k more than me on my guarantee."
What don't you like about working at TitleMax?
"They talk like this is a selling company, but it's not this is a collection company. This has to be the most negative thing I have done in my professional life. Prey on lower income people and try to brain wash you that they are doing a positive for community and for customers. You are forced to do community events and volunteer work. Not to mention pay for your own marketing In your location. This is a sink or swim position (GM). I warn anyone who has done sales all your life and falls for the BS they feed. This is not sales be forewarned."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Teach the GMIT's how all the numbers effect your pay before you take it from them. Promote from within. There is a disconnect between management. Talk is cheap!"

"There ia a limited room for increase in monetary pay, but the personal experiences are priceless."

"Anyone applying for a position with the company should present themselves in the most professional manner. That applies to all positions not just management"

"If there was anything, it was a large company and sometimes very bureaucratic. At times that was a source of frustration."

"A reduction in the bureaucracy and perhaps more flexibility in some of the policies that were in place"
