"Be yourself, know someone who works there. It does not exist anymore so it would be hard to get a job there now"

"Long Hours on my feet, I was married to this company for many years. Loved it while I was doing it though."

"Wish the owner did not close the restaurant, but really had no way of knowing it was happening. Very secretive even though be we were profitable"

"Always present a professional demeanor, be honest and upfront with them."

"Limited growth potential for General Managers. Tremendous amount of red tape for some issues."

"Provide more one on one training for new GM's, either by phone or a mentoring program."

"There was nothing I did not like about working for the company."

"No visits on the known busy sales days, with out advanced notice."

"Freedom. Even though the owners were watching, they allowed me to manage the place any way that I saw fit. If it ment changing vendors to cut costs to staffing, they let me make those decissions as long as I kept with in their assinged budgets"

"The biggest tip that I would give people, is be yourself. That is all that we really are looking for."
What don't you like about working at Pardon My French?
"As of Sunday January 13th I will be out of a job as it is going out of business"

"The biggest suggestion that I would have given them is before you go off and invest in a new property, know your business."

"My account, R&D and delivery teams are committed and push to provide value add to my customers. There is also a real love of technology and innovation even though the management is Old School."

"Be clear on whether the opportunity moves you in the direction you want to go. Then, if it does, ask yourself how much hassle you are willing to put up with (e.g. is it okay to only do the stuff you like < 10% of the time)"
What don't you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?
"Politics and jockeying to keep your current role, perks, titles when the company needs to embrace change to survive make the job difficult. I report my forecasts 6 different ways every week because no one can agree on a single approach to measuring business performance. So, our brand suffers and we are target practice for any journalist trying to cut his teeth."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Align all of the business units to work together to optimize business results instead of operating in silos. The internal competition is counter productive and causes frustration which leads to apathy. That apathy shows in our products, sales efforts and our ability to compete with companies that are more unified."

"Best Buy was a company that was open to listening to employee and customer ideas."

"To successfully interview with the company it is important that you like people."

"The opportunity for current growth. The company is struggling and I am looking for better opportunities."
