There are aspects of all positions that are not fun work but I take all aspects of my job seriously. I would have to say collections is not my favorite part of the job. I enjoy dealing with customers in every other situation."

"In my role as General Manager I was excited to create a winning culture where both sales and operations folks felt appreciated and supported. In addition as a salesperson at heart my favorite activity was customer facing. The difficulties of supporting the product were a challenge because more often than not the operation fell short in that area, as the General Manager I spent a great deal of time trying to resolve issues which in the end were not resolvable."

What do you like about working at EP Henry?
"EP Henry pays well if you hold the right position. They also provide a company vehicle."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Take a different job if you like feeling rewarded by your works."
What don't you like about working at EP Henry?
"EP Henry has what I would describe as a clubhouse mentality. Many of its key employees have been with the company for multiple decades. Quite frankly they are dinosaurs. They resist change of any type and avoid decision making at all costs. Almost all decisions are made by committee with no one ever taking final responsibility. There is no self discipline regarding workplace conduct on the part of middle management. Foul and abusive language are the norm. The tearing down of peers is common place. Middle management joins in on employee complaint sessions and encourages dissent. The IT department is completely incompetent. Phones and computer network are frequently down. The Safety Director is also incompetent. There are no published safety practices or structured training classes yet he verbally berates employees for following unsafe practices."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Clean house of current middle managers. Bring in new younger people to replace them."

"The paycheck. The commute is doable. I get a discount."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Sure. Don't bother. You'll regret it. This is not a place for successful managers to be."
What don't you like about working at Aaron Brothers?
"Most everything. The salary, the work load, the hours required, stress level, constant mindless floor moves, trucks delivering in the middle if the night, no maintenance or repair of stores and equipment, DM always trying to reinvent the wheel, rude cheap coupon customers who want everything for free, 30 min lunches, no breaks. Working off the clock. Emails and DM calls on your day off without pay. Running to make bank deposits with your gas and no reimbursement. Always not up to standard no matter what you do. The threat of an auditor visit daily. Registers and computers old and non functioning with no hope for a workable update. Always a struggle to do your job with the failing equipment provided from 1990."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"You guys need to get a grip. New senior management is needed. It will take years to get out of this mess."
