"I have really enjoyed working with clients of the bank. They are from a variety of industries and with a variety of issues to be resolved. My supervisor was unprepared and unqualified to supervise me, but soldered on anyway despite a lack of technical and industry experience. The bank requires employees to take annual surveys, and "suggests" that a performance of "5" or better is required. This invalidates the Gallop Survey results in my opinion. Fewer layers of management and more attention to detail is what is required here."

"I've worked at the fifth third as a contractor for 4 months so it's premature to review the company as a whole."

"I’ve been working for Fifth third bank for over a year now. The bank footprint covers 12 states in the Midwest and the south. Although my manager and team are good the overall organization is still 10-15 years behind in terms of technology and employee amenities. This is a really good place to work for a Midwest office, but average in the larger picture."

"I was hired at Fifth third bank just a couple months before they began layoffs. I was not there long enough to truly demonstrate my abilities or advance with the company. The fulfillment platform they used was very difficult to use. The compensation was the best part of the job. Fifth Third paid better than my previous two employers."

"I discovered my love for finance at Fifth Third. My initial onboarding was promising, insightful and encouraging, I have met some incredible individuals at Fifth Third, many who have shaped my path in success. I have encountered such intelligent employees at the bank who have amazing ideas; but unfortunately all of those ideas go unheard. Fifth Third may have taught me so much in regards to finance and the mortgage process, but they have also taught me what is wrong with large corporations. As someone who worked alongside the underwriters I was amazed at the amount of workload they took on yet never received help. This led to mass delays in the processing of all equity loans, almost doubling the time. In a time of need, focus is key and Fifth Third continues to shift its focus in areas that are not aligned with the values they stand for."

"I have worked for 5/3 bank since 2019. During that time I have learned a great deal about loans. I love my immediate co workers. I have a flexible manager. The company as a whole is great with their customers and is very sales focused. They are so great with sales they lose a little focus on their employees as a whole. But I do love my own manager."
