"No company is perfect. I don't like to nit-pick, so adapted to the surroundings and rules."

"Stand behind your people 100%. If you can't than they shouldn't be there to begin with.."

"if you feel uncomfortable in the interview you will feel uncomfortable working for the company"

"My manager died and was replaced by someone who was not qualified"

"Just show everything you know Tellabs is a great Company and very family oriented"

"I have no complaints about my work in Tellabs Inc"

"None they are good to management all the operations of the employees."

"Ikon is no longer a formidable competitor."
What do you like about working at IKON Office Solutions?
"Generally speaking, I like the freedom to do your job, assuming the manager of the week lets you."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Honestly, unless you are out of options, don't even apply, There is a reason Ikon and Ricoh have tanked more and more recently. Soon there will be nobody there who actually has the capability to keep the wheels turning. Instead, it will be a sea of poor management trying to figure out how to put the bits in the the end of the screwdriver between golf tournaments."
What don't you like about working at IKON Office Solutions?
"The technology that you're forced to employ slows you down dramatically. There are also a great many managers who shouldn't have a job, let alone a management job here, due to moral issues. It's the good ole' boy situation, unfortunately."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"All the good managers that were in the area I worked in were also left to fend without a job. The only managers left are all golf buddies who have managed to keep their jobs despite doing nothing of benefit to anyone."
What do you like about working at Vega Americas?
"The variety of industries I get to visit and the various processes I get to see."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be straight up and honest. If applying for field service be prepared to make work a major portion of your life."
What don't you like about working at Vega Americas?
"The company culture has changed significantly over the last couple of years."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Field service requires a high degree of flexibility and freedom and should be compensated appropriately."

What do you like about working at Thermo Fisher Scientific?
"It started out as a totally great company to work for ...Great boss, great co-workers and treated like a CEO. As time went on after the initial training, I began to see that training was going to be sketchy. As soon as they let the main trainer go 1 year before his retirement and then my awesome supervisor who seemed to really care about his team and his job, I knew something was not quite kosher there."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Cover Your Butt and have a back up plan. Be ready for learning a lot on your own and not getting the direction and feedback you should expect from a very large corporation."
What don't you like about working at Thermo Fisher Scientific?
"No real training program in place, overloaded field force, competition kept stealing our best guys. The company has a cumbersome top down trickle effect and seems indifferent towards the lower levels of employee. They just merge and eliminate jobs, then seek to hire for the very same positions right after instead of utilizing existing manpower. They really lack communication."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Don't operate so indifferently to the employees by just mandating executive privilege. Get involved more, communicate more and rethink your philosophy. Establish better relationships with employees in all areas and seek to retain people not use and discard good people."

"The staff is good to work with, and the work is interesting."

"Make sure that you make them aware of your technical and sales skills."

"There is not enough business oppurtunity in my area, unfortunately."

"Hire sales people to help with sales, instead of depending solely on service engineers."

"The men I work with in the lower ranks are great ."

"Don't!! they have gutted the company no fun no pay and lot's of headaches"

"Upper managment control everything and adjust the bids to make more money and then its your fault when the bid goes to another at the numbers you came up with."

"Let the men and women do their jobs stop micromanaging everything."

"The satisfaction of meeting customer requirements and leaning new technology for process improvement."

"It was a great opportunity to install robotics in different types of manufacturing facilities. I also enjoyed training new users."

"Because I do not know the new company it will be hard for me to pass on interviewing tips."

"I was told that I would travel two weeks a month. That turned into traveling three to fours weeks a month. Vacation time was not easily granted."

"This company no longer exits and has been absorbed by a larger company. I do not have knowledge how the new company operates."

"that I would rather keep it to myself, I think it is up to the person looking to work for the company to find out for him or herself, what I don' t like might be appealing to someone else"

"The new vision and approach of new management worry me, as I am not too sure they are looking at the big picture, it seems that they are looking for a quick gratification rather than having a game plan to sustain for a long time"

"That slashing and austerity are not necessarily the best way to instill confidence in your work force"

"To much employee turnover, too many mid and high level managers pulling in different directions"

"Your hands were tied when ordering parts, always had to have someone's approval and that limited ability to make the repair in a timely manner."

"Leave the engineers alone and let them do their jobs that they are so very good at."

"I like our clients and the work that I do. I like doing something different everyday. I really like not knowing what to expect on certain accounts, troubleshooting new systems or just trying to find the solution is my greatest strength."

"I did wish that the company would provide a vehicle to drive to client sites."
