"Be yourself and have patients. Need to be able to go at a moments notice to nursing homes"
What don't you like about working at Millennium Pharmacy Systems?
"They have no change control process. Changes are rush into production which blow up when patients need their meds"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Dev, QA and CCB need to be stronger. Need six sigma methedology"
What do you like about working at Siemens?
"I love working from home and scheduling my own service visits. I have very little supervision which allows me to work the most efficiently as possible. I also enjoy a company vehicle, 4 weeks of vacation a year with 5 sick days, laptop, cell phone, and corporate credit card for supplies and tools. I enjoy repairing electronic equipment, and get satisfaction knowing I did a job well done and complete."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just be yourself and tell the truth, integrity is a trait that will always be an aid."
What don't you like about working at Siemens?
"Since Siemens bought out our smaller company, I see a lot of the corporate changes coming at a very fast rate. I am no longer able to service my customers to the best of my ability due to corporate red tape. We are no longer pushed to make our customers happy, we are pushed to get the machine fixed and out of the account as fast as possible."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would rearrange the backup and primary work loads to balance out the load between the engineers. I would train personnel on equipment they are very excited to work on and demonstrate the ability to do so. I see alot of waste that needs to be trimmed to make the business run more smoothly, but suggestions are not considered."

"Travel everywhere. Work environment always changing. One day in Canada, next week in Mexico then 12 weeks in Malaysia"

"Like the work and you should like the job. It's the work that counts."
What don't you like about working at Perretta Graphics?
"Printing in the US is still in a recession mode. 75% of business in third world countries and some just are uncomfortable as they don't care for Americans."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Customer first. Since we now do newspapers and they run all hours of the day and night, they need the ability for answers for issues 24 hours."

"The support and professional attitude that is exhibited. As long as you work issues encountered, you would always get to someone who had a clue how to resolve issues on something that was new to you"

"Be honest and truthful. As long as you respect the internal personnel you will not be thrown out under the bus ."

"The scheduling system for planned work was never set up correctly"

"I liked the challenge of learning about all the products they have. I also like completing difficult jobs because I find them interesting."

"You should know you networking and have the ability to look at the big picture of a problem and slowly break that down."

"I did not like all the traveling. I had to drive from site to site and that took up a large portion of your day."

"The management department was great. For the 17 years that I worked their I had great Managers."

"Assure you know what your position will be and get your job description. Find out how others have fared in your position. If there is no room for promotion think again."

"Travel is 24/7 and the hours are horrendous. I travel 100 percent of the time. There is no road to advancement of any knowledge of how to get ahead."

"I would compensate my employees with more PTO and Sabbaticals. I would increase opportunities in other territories."

"Massive amount of hours on 'strick' salary, lots of unpaid weekend work"

"Hire more Field Engineers and pay them more, these are the guys who carry the company."
