"it has become less challenging, there is no room for growth and no retirement benefits."

"More involvement with programs and more appreciation for staff. Management is key for happy staff!"

"Maine Robotics makes a huge impact in Maine each year, getting youth interested in the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics. It is great to see the impact on all of these youth."

"Realize that fundraising is a critical part of the process to keep the programs alive. Everything else is great."
What don't you like about working at Maine Robotics?
"Low budget, few opportunities for professional development or working directly within the field I was trained in (biomedical engineering or computer science)"

"The company tries hard to work with the budget and space available. More of each would be needed to significantly grow the program in the future."

"They did not have a location in California and I knew that I would eventually move here."

"None they did a great job and we were a motivated and happy staff."

"They should remember that the community always has to have trust established before they will follow anyone no matter how important their title."

"The financial challenges of a start up non-profit organization as it attempts to build it's base support structure."

"Manage growth and Board expectations against public expectations and build performance goals balanced against outreach and perception."

"I enjoyed interacting with our member clients on a regular basis and seeing that we were making a difference in their lives."

"If you are a go-getter, be prepared to have your reins pulled back and ask permission for everything you want to initiate."
What don't you like about working at The Wellness Center at Bayside?
"My boss was a micro-manager. I had freedom to come and go but I had to ask permission for purchasing toilet paper when I had been accustomed to purchasing items in the thousands of dollars."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would let the managers I hired do the job they were hired to do and not micro-manage them. He had a talanted group of managers but would not allow them to make decisions. That resulted in work getting bottle-necked and managers frustrated."
