"As an executive director at ICE, you're expected to manage to the owner's absurd and rather chaotic demands. This is less than fun and creates burnout very quickly. You are promised all this autonomy to oversee things, but the never ending stream of new cooks being added to the mix ensure very few decisions are actually yours. Of course when things go poorly, it must have been all your idea. So I guess the thing about this job is that you get to meet lots of new people and get several new bosses over the year."
"Very organized and very knowledgeable."
"I love the fact that I am affecting change and assisting many in the community. I was frustrated by the limited resources and the lack of collaboration among organizations in the area, which forced us to compete for limited resources."
"I loved the ability to support and develop the public servants who are responsible for administrating justice in the state of Maryland. I really didn't hate anything about being Deputy Executive Director of Human Resources."
"Most of the senior managers are very good and helpful, COO is extremely helpful and very supportive, the attorney is always looking for solutions. However, the decisions of the chairman are not always in line with the company's best interest."
