"Nothing. It's a micro manage place with zero growth. Poor management with inexperience managers on the top."

"Don't bother to apply. Wasting time of your life, unless you are at a point of total desperate."

"Stop acting like a big company, because you are running it like a small family sweat shop. Stop treating employees like robots, please give them respect."

"Overall I am content working for Union Bank, but, my assignment is short term."

"I like my projects, the people, and for the most part, the project methodology in place because the PMO is structured and mature."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be prepared for a strict PMO process because this is a bank and financial institutions require adherence to specific processes. As a contractor or permanent employee, expect unpaid overtime on a regular basis."
What don't you like about working at Union Bank?
"I am a contract employee and was told during my interview and again before I was hired that my project is short term, three months."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Since most software development is sent offshore, I believe that some applications should be developed onshore because this would speed up development and retain valuable knowledge."

"I enjoy working in public and dealing with users. I believe that my skills set and personality are very good match for this position."

"Scattered, dishonest management that treats employees as if they're morons. Contribution is highly discouraged, more so an environment of do what you're told."

"Don't expect to use your creativity. If you interview avoid project management and the PMO. I was not on that side but I could not stand anyone much in the PMO office including the VP and Manager. Avoid like the plague!"

"Very old school in terms of leadership. Feels like Mad Man or working somewhere in the 50's. They need to get with the program, micromanagement is so 50's! Annoying and stifling."

"Let go of worrying about perception and control, no one likes that style and the products at KBB do not warrant acting so formal."
