"As a Project Manager, I enjoyed working for various teams and working on new and different projects. I learned a lot from working with associates from all over the world; experiencing how they worked and how their environment was different and unique."

"Acxiom is known for constantly reorganizing its associates; while some realignment is necessary, the constant change can be stressful for its employees."

"No room for advancement. State Civil Service system only allows technical advancement to a certain level."

"Hire more technical managers with IT experience. Use classifications with hirer pay scale to retain staff."

"Awesome benefits. Great place to learn. Amazing sick/vacation day policy. Oh yeah, nearly free degrees for employees."

"Make sure you want to get an education when you're here, otherwise it's too much work with little payoff."

"I spend more time getting buy-in than doing actual work, and I'm not alone so things move very slowly."

"Reduce the number of projects going on at a given time. 10+ projects at a time wastes energy when mentally switching between them."

"It was an oppurtunity and in today's ecomnomy if they offer you a job and you have none you take it."

"Make sure you know what you are getting into and that they fulling understand what your goals are. Also, make sure any work arrangements or deals are in writing or documented."

"Supervisor was a control freak and didn't let anyone make a descision without approval.(Didn't trust the people he/she hired)"

"Provide more direction and communicate better with employees. You have to trust the people you hire and let them do what they are being paid to do."
