"Awesome place!! Great people!!"
What do you like about working at Gold Spur Trucking?
"The management of the company are fair people. I have worked in both north and south Texas and have worked with all of the truck pushers and supervisors. There were some growing pains last year and some mild issues with truck pushers but that it all gone now. The pay for drivers is above average and more than fair. The equipment is getting better with all purchases turned to brand new trucks and trailers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest and candid about your experience and work ethic. This is the oilfield and if you aren't a hard worker it will show and show fast."
What don't you like about working at Gold Spur Trucking?
"Nothing comes to mind that doesn't fit most companies I have worked for."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep growing and buying new equipment. That is the biggest complaint that I think most people have. Equipment is getting much better."

What do you like about working at Lazer Spot?
"Close to home, that's all only thing really is that it is close to home."

"Don't take the job unless it is a union shop."
What don't you like about working at Lazer Spot?
"Pay, no benefits, well there are benefits but who could afford 150.00 a week for them, management could screw up a cup of coffee let alone ((Manage People))."

"Look out the union is coming for Lazer Spot. The drivers will finally get a break now and then :-)"

"it is a job. there is nothing to like about this company"

"Location might make a difference, but I would never recomment working for this company."

"it is the worst. they need to totally overhaul managment. there is no one that is happy at this place"

"They are so incompetent there is nothing that could possibly make a difference."

"excellent salary, easy going atmosphere, friendly co workers, great benefits"

"No, they are very easy going and if you have a good work history and the required skills you will be hired."
What don't you like about working at Air Liquide?
"Too much micro management from upper management. They need to leave depot decisions more in the local managers hands."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop micro managing on such a large scale. The pople on the ground have more knowledge about the situation at hand."

"Nothing to like about Knight. Short loads, no home time and management does not care."

"Do not go, turn around and run. Do not look back."

"There wast nothing I liked about working for Knight. Mangement was nit-picky but themselves were unproductive. Did not care about anything but who is stabbing them in the back and who they can stab in the back."

"You have to be in touch with the needs of those who are on the front lines. For example, I would like to know where I can find a empty trailer please"

"No layoffs / most co-workers there is work for you except they will push you as hard as possible...no lunches."

"The managers are racists and back stabbers and do not know how to do their jobs."

"Racist managers and unfair treatment toward employees and there is no open door policy as they state."

"Enforce the rules to all not select individuals. Stop protecting the racist managers."

"I make my own hours and can take off any day or hour that I want."

"have a good driving record for at least the last five years."

"I need to work seven days a week to pay the lease. and drivers have to pay credit/voucher fees."

"newport news needs a standing area near the shipyard and bus station."

"I like the autonomy I have when I am out on a route."

"Make sure the job is what you want, because the hiring process can be protracted."

"Lack of effective communication is a big issue at the plant I work at."

"I would probably talk to more of the employees on a regular basis so that information gets to everyone who needs it to do their job effectively."

"There is a family type atmosphere. We support each other during good times and not so good times."

"Make eye contact, sit up straight and look like you really have something to offer this company. Don't just make it a job."

"Pay rate is low especially for the responsibilities we are given."

"Pave the parking lot. It would really keep the buses clean inside and outside. I know it wouldn't be an investment for the company but it would make the drivers happy."

"There is no room for advancement as a driver, you cannot be promoted to anything higher. You can never receive a pay raise."

"The store managers constantly break the companies rules/policies and the district managers don't care. If the company wants less employee turnaround the need to enforce the rules that protect their employees"

"you must be ready to work long hours for minimal pay but the job is steady and if you love the out doors this may be a good workplace for you"
