"Relax, don't forget to breath, and speak from the heart. You don't want to get into to somthing you can't stand behind."
What don't you like about working at City of Fresno?
"I enjoy working for the City of Fresno but to be honest, I don't care for the union atmosphere which takes away from the business oriented minds I am looking to learn from."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I believe we have good leadership where I work and would like to bring what I have learned to a company."
What do you like about working at UPS?
"The people I work with are very nice and easy to get along with."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you're taking an interview for UPS and it's union, take the job but don't look for advancement besides part-time."
What don't you like about working at UPS?
"Management doesn't get along with the union employees. Union employees are looked down upon."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would be more in touch with my employees and not act like I'm better."
What do you like about working at FedEx?
"The paycheck, some benefits, med/dent/vision, once I'm out of the building I'm pretty much not bothered by management."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Really look at the company and positions as well as the possible career paths ahead of you. I'd suggest and recommend UPS for a long term career/future over FedEx. FedEx is built around an antiquated business model with profit margins that are too slim. Don't let the (often) higher starting pay fool you, you'll be making less than someone at UPS doing the same job in a few years as your raises are just north of pathetic."
What don't you like about working at FedEx?
"Every year more control over my job is taken away from me in order to screw customers, myself as an employee or otherwise make the company look good while doing the wrong thing for our business.When I started I was basically on my own after I left with my deliveries, I was TRUSTED and my manager backed me up when there was a question as to what I did/didn't do because I proved I was working hard. Over time that has been stripped away to the point where I can't do this or that and provide worse service to our customers. Being sabotaged by the company over and over as well as being overburdened with more work than I should have, and forced to fail the goals put on me, I stopped caring. Fedex wasn't backing me up OR trusting me so why should *I* care if I am providing poor service for our customers. When I tried to do the right thing for our customers I get called into the boss's office to be documented for it, or if I'm lucky, lectured that I can't do that anymore."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Focus on the supposed PSP, People Service Profit mantra we are told FedEx practices. Stop sabotaging employees and then blaming them for it. Actually think about the things we try to 'improve on', how they will affect things, our people, service, etc.Stop spending a dollar to save 1 cent."

"I like the fact that I get to learn new things."

"I just show you are a hard worker and wanted to do the job right."

"I don't like the fact that alot of people get over look."

"I think that management should look at all point of view not only his or her."

"I like the fortune 500 company that does not lay off but offers a severance package for early retirement."

"They are so focused on stats, they forget we are people that dedicate our lives to help this company grow."

"Let the employees in on some of the company changes. Don't just make a change and expect it to work."

"Don't interview if you don't want to do the job correctly and 100% give it your all. Security is nothing to be lazy about ."

"The fact that I had everything set To take time off and corporate gave me ultimatum to come back or self terminate ."

"Don't bother. This place does not look out for its workers."

"Not enough words to accurately describe how bad it is here."

"Focus on the actual job not the other bs. Stop worrying about your bonuses and give out some ot. We know you are all retiring in a few years but c'mon. And you guys want to talk about padding payroll."

"The freedom of planning you own route and the incentive base pay structure."

"Yes, If you are looking for a consistent steady job with good benefits this is the place for you. However, If seeking growth this may not be the best option."

"No room for advancement or to grow as a professional."

"I really have no suggestions for management. The way the company runs is really the nature of the beast in the trucking industry."

What do you like about working at Domino's Pizza?
"I didn't like anything about working there at all in the least!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't do it, this company is #4 on the worst company to work for in the world and they have been there for the past 5 years in the top 10!! You can make much more money and less pain going to Papa John's or Pizza Hut, even they at least pay $7-8 an hour for drivers and don't micro manage you to the point of you walking out like myself and 5 others in a week!! Oh, and it's nice to know that they make money off their drivers charging $4 for delivery and the driver only makes about $.65 cents of that so the company is making about $3.45 off their own workers. I have gone to work with $20 of gas in my car, used all my gas and didn't even make enough to put the $20 back in, so I paid to go to work most nights."
What don't you like about working at Domino's Pizza?
"1) Training to deliver a pizza for 18 hours, waited when all it takes is maybe 20 minutes. 2) Very low pay, we only make $4 an hour if we don't make tips we can't even buy gas. 3) Work hours change every day, schedule changes every 2 days, one can go from having 2 days of work to 7, then back down to not working at all that week!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop thinking you are sending a rocket into space, we are making and delivering pizza, how black my pants are or if I have earrings in, or that my belt isn't black, it's brown, that I have white shoes on and not black!! All this doesn't matter, you are the only one to notice or care!! Trust me, the people getting the food don't care about all this, all they want is their food hot and made right!! It's 2012, everyone has earrings, tattoos, and the such!! BTW only making $4 an hour can't even buy new black pants or a belt or even new black shoes!! But what can happen is me do my job and do it well!! I understand uniforms are key but come on, shorts aren't black enough, get real!"

"I had a background in construction so delivering to construction sites was a lot easier for me"

"Be yourself and talk about your driving and delivering experience"

"The long hours. Sometimes I would work 12 or 13 hour days."

"Be honest, because they are truly an honest company! Such a change from most trucking companies."

"The lack of overtime during the 2 slow seasons and the stresses of a growing company."

"Settle in to where the Company is right now, and allow the growing pains to ease before continuing with the expansion. Try to return to the flexibility that was so attractive to the employees when we 1st started!"
