"The company is very flexible in meeting the needs of it's employees. Allowing work from home if needed and managers go out of their way to help resolve problems."

What don't you like about working at Dell?

"The Dell Buy out of Perot Systems."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please dont lay off highly skilled people without a VP approval."

What don't you like about working at Dell?

"The only experience I was given credit for is the one I had within the continental US. My overseas experience was overlooked entirely."

"Good company, great benefits and challenging at times, client list is impressive. I can honestly say that I don't know how and why 3/4 of the people, especially in India, have their jobs. Some positions appear to be put together ADHOC."

"Company is a good company. Sometimes the lack of documentation and resources can prohibit getting a job done in a timely manner on the services side."

"Dell was a great place to work but we are quickly being taken over by leadership from India in the Services sector, the new model being pushed is disturbing and will not work with our current customers and contracts. Plus now we get to wonder when the next wave of layoffs is, this place in not good for your health or career."

"Good benefits. Industry leader. Software tools are top notch with MSDN and great development servers."

"Look in the government sectors where offshore can't dominate all positions."

What don't you like about working at Dell?

"Too focused on offshore growth to the point stopping all domestic cultivation."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The Bell Curve is not a good way to manage people. Managing by numbers will leave you with only the people who will put up with it."

"I was actually originally employed by Perot Systems before it was acquired by Dell and became Dell Services. Overall, it was the best job I've ever had, though I would have preferred more opportunities to advance. I wouldn't have left, but ended up leaving because my husband's job required us to move out of state."

"My manager, my work environment, the flexibility of the job."

"Study the company and the position that you will apply. The interviewers will ask you pertinent questions regarding the position."

What don't you like about working at Dell?

"Other than the offshoring component, I really can't think of anything else."

"I don't have any suggestions for mangement. They are doing the best they can do with what resources they have."

"Dell provides healthy work environment to work for. However it has some cons. I sometimes feel, it does not have strong policies to deal with compensation and growth perspective from an employee's point of view, rather deal equally with pupil based on their experience. Overall I think it is nice company to work for if you are satisfied with the compensation they provide. They provide good leave policies and flexible hours of working."

"The dirty politics."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management should look for the quality work, take the stand for team."

"I have worked for Dell as a contractor since Oct 2012. Work in this role had been coming in steady for awhile, however now there has not been much coming in and I find myself at home (remote position) twiddling my thumbs. I do feel that my job is at risk if we do not have work available. But the upside is that I get to work at home with no traffic and I also get to collaborate with many professionals in this business."
