"Great pay, direction of company is muddled, but opportunities exist."
"People who thrive at Dell are capable of delivering their own work product, producing results very rapidly under very tight cost controls, and in an environment that changes quarterly. Expect change, remain vigilant in this meritocracy. I appreciate the diversity of experiences and creations I had opportunity to deliver."
"I've worked for Dell since 2008. Love it! I enjoy the people and the culture. They have amazing opportunities for building products and services."
"Development leader, responsible for providing work estimates, work assignment within the development team, technical design reviews and deliverable reviews utilizing Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, java concurrent programs, Workflow, Linux shell scripts and OAF Pages as part of the solutions delivered to the Dell business."
"They herd you in and out like cattle. There is a lack of training and yet they expect you to know and understand your job."
"I've worked for Dell for four years and until recently my business unit was led by top notch people and the job was a dream. After the recent restructuring, I now have management that doesn't have a clue and they have ruined the wonderful culture and work environment I enjoyed prior. That being said, Dell is a large company and there are many great people there. Overall, I would say Dell is a great company to work for."
"Dell is a great company. Awesome work environment, amazing people, and access to emerging technologies. It's great!"
"Dell can be a great place to work. I have hopes for its future, and at this point my only advice is to investigate each opportunity and organization to determine if it is a good role. Dell is so big, your experience will vary widely based on the individual organization."
"Pretty good company! Great teamwork."
"Good pay. Too many night calls. No personal life. Less chance to move up."
"It was difficult to grow within the Dell. It is very political."
"Good compensation but very rigid and political practices in place."
"Not a good company. They set up a six month sales year. By the time you make contacts and meet customers to start a deal, the customer barely has time to get the solution through their budget cycle before the end of the six month. Then they change territories so your prior work counted for nothing. Worked there almost three years and they changed my territories and customers over five times. Managers are managers, not leaders. Total focus is on Salesforce.com reporting."
"Dell is a good company, I liked working with them. In future if I get a chance to work with them again, I would love to take that opportunity."
"I've worked along nine months, good company!"
