What do you like about working at Yamazaki Mazak?

"It was interesting working in the wholesale food industry. It gave me a lot insight as to how food wholesale distributors work, going from the warehouse to business office because they do not entertain walk in clients and there is no need to display the food items."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be sure you understand that although the company is large, this office is just a satallite office with basically no room for growth. If you are okay with that, then this is the place for you. If you are looking to further your career, be sure to communicate that to the hiring manager so you both will understand the expectations of both parties."

What don't you like about working at Yamazaki Mazak?

"The bulk of the work and career opportunities working at Vie de France were mainly withing the distribution area. It was a small office and did not offer any chances of advancement or career growth."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Create an incentive program for the team. Because it is a small office, adding an incentive will help keep people motivated and inspired. It can also help develop group pride and cohesiveness."

"Find a better way for phone reps to balance work and personal life to prevent such incredibly high turnover; rather than offer great benefits - take some away if needed in order to pay better wages."
