"I have worked for Westinghouse for 10 years. They are a great company that pays well. Unfortunately due to recent transformations within the company the opportunity for future work and professional growth has become less than ideal."

"In my two years at the CBS affiliate in Milwaukee, everything about the experience has improved. I feel we have strong leadership in place to aggressively cover the important stories to southeast Wisconsin. Every newsroom has its hiccups, but I really have no complaints."

"CBSi is the first company that I have worked for that they value their employees. I have not been at a company that has the knowledge and resources that they do for paid social and search marketing. I have learned and sharpened my skills since I have joined the team. CBSi also makes sure that every employee succeeds in their role."

"I worked for Westinghouse for nine years. The projects I worked on provided quality control systems to active and in in-construction nuclear power plants. While there were challenges with out-dated design tools, the engineering teams were able to complete the jobs through hard work and dedication. I am thankful for the opportunities that I had to travel abroad."

"Currently employed for 20 years. If benefits are more important than salary then this company is good for you. They are a good company for longevity, however I have yet found good professional management. The company does not invest in their management. So be prepared to encounter some incompetence along the way."

"I was originally hired by CBS Radio Services, Inc. in November, 2011 to work for their Classic Hits station, WOCL-FM 1059 SUNNY FM in Orlando, FL as a Morning Show Producer. In 2013, I transferred to a station in Saint Petersburg, WHFS-FM 98.7 FM, in a full-time capacity. CBS Radio was a great company to work for -- though we were part of the larger CBS Corporation, there was always a feeling of family and community among co-workers, a collaborative spirit when it came to creative endeavors, and strong support for individual growth and personal ambition in terms of career goals."

"I enjoyed my time working for the company but had a rough start due to lack of training. The people in my area were very knowledgeable, but were way too busy with their work load to help me learn my position properly. Most of my learning was done by trial and error."

"I have worked for CBS for close to 10 years. While compensation is quite competitive the pace and workload are typically quite high and there is no bonus if that is important to you. It is a very large organization so if you prefer a more intimate environment with a culture geared towards family responsibilities and tight inter-departmental collaboration, this might not be the ideal fit for you. If you are looking to get involved in numerous tasks and projects simultaneously and greatly enhance your experience, I would recommend CBS."

"It's a nice environment, everyone is very nice and up front with you. Don't expect the training to be too thorough and don't expect to go anywhere fast. There are a lot of go getters in the newsroom vying for the same job all the time."

"It's a good place to work, a lot of people, all nice and professional. It is what it is though, as with many major media companies, room for advancement does not come around too often, however I will say that CBS does a better job of promoting in-house than some other ones."
