"Like any company it has its good parts and tough parts. Overall its a good place to work. You will work hard but you will enjoy the work."

"Working for CBSi for the last 3 years has been a good experience. For the most part we've had the freedom to introduce new features and innovate until recently. After acquiring a new company to add to the BU, the team that was replaced has taken the specific unit back a step. What once was a startup within a corporation is now a monotonous corporate entity that drags their feet and cares more about revenue than innovating with technology."

"I've worked for CBS radio for about a year. I enjoy working there, and get some really great perks. However, there isn't much room to get promoted, because everyone currently working for them is young. I also feel like some people are not getting paid enough for the job that they are doing. All in all I would stay at CBS if they paid me better, because I do enjoy my job and the people I work with."

"Overall Westinghouse is a good company. The nuclear industry as a whole is struggling and this is driving change in our business. The leadership development and training I have received here is outstanding and has developed me to be world class."

"CBS Radio is a company with great assets but not the proper leadership to move into the digital age. There is a major lack of support and the system has been devised that limits the abilities of its sellers locally and nationally. Streaming media players like: Spotify, Pandora, Apple, Beats, etc. are overing far superior products making CBS Radio group obsolete in the digital space. All energy and attention is focused on the immediate future and how to earn dollars for now."

"I worked at CBS Designs for 4.5 years, unfortunately, the company closed down after owner was in major car accident and unable to work. It was a great company to work for."

"With the year engaged with CBS IT, there was no drive to project completion and no sense of job satisfaction. Projects that should be completed are stagnant and project leads and managers are apathetic in their approach to completion. Anyone desiring growth and forward career movement will be disappointed with the environment and the lack of drive toward progress. I was extremely frustrated at the level of potential there and the inability to take advantage of that potential."

"I worked for CBS Radio for about two years. Hands down my favorite job I have had yet. My boss was amazing and let me do my job with little supervision since I could be trusted and I had proven myself. The people there were funny and great to talk to and the pay was pretty decent for something I loved doing. Only setback was that the budget was always on unstable ground so you never knew if your job was next to go. Long story short, I was, even after all I did for the company."

Account Coordinator

"I have worked here for over two years. It is a good stepping stone as you are exposed to different tools and projects. The Account Coordinator role carries a lot of responsibility. Unfortunately the work flow and processes used are very poor and there are a lot of system glitches that impede optimal execution. Opportunity to move up is also slim, depending on the business unit you are originally located in. There are pros and cons to this position, but does serve as good learning experience."

"I worked for CBS Outdoor from November 1999 until October 2008 and loved the job I did and the people I worked with. I was sad to leave when my position was eliminated."

"I have worked for CBS for 8 years now. I have learned a lot here and look forward to coming to work every day. The environment is a corporate setting yet casual. The Broadcast Center is a great place to be as it is the center for all activities in CBS. It's a great place to meet people and network."

"I've worked at Westinghouse since 2011. While I have learned a lot in time time with the company, it's difficult for me to see any opportunities to move up."

Blog Writer

"I freelance technology articles for CBS Interactive's tech blog, tech republic.com. Though I do not work within the headquarters, but rather from home. I communicate quite often with my supervisors and feel right at home getting the job done and submitting my articles in a timely manner. They are a pleasure to work with (both my editors) and would love to write more, if time permitted."

"I worked here for two years and I consider it one of the greatest mistakes of my career. CBS Local is a deadzone. They either phone-in their products or they are complete ripoffs. The management is completely dishonest and incompetent. Company morale is the lowest I have ever seen in any place I have ever worked. The benefits are standard, the pay is awful and out of touch with the work required and the city that they are located. If CBS Local calls you just hang up."
