"unfortunately there is not much growth opportunity so therefore you tend to stay a very long time in the same position"

"I work from my home office in Los Angeles. I report to an office in New York City on a regular basis."

"Learn what you can and leave. Have a handy exit plan in place."
What don't you like about working at Parragon Books?
"Creative ideas are browbeaten to death. You regret suggesting anything new. Fear is the main factor to motivating the staff. Someone is yelled at once a day by the President. The theme of each day is to stay under the radar so you can just get your work done and not be abused. It is all stick and no carrot."

"I would refocus on the leadership so they could actually lead their staffs. Right now, the focus doesn't even take employees into consideration with the structure of running the business."

"I didn't like one thing. This was the worst place to work and I am happy I no longer work there."

"Do not interview with this company. There are no growth opportunities and they refuse to change in order to improve their business. They will never be as good as Discout Cab."

"The company has no organization and no strateic planning. Two guys own the company and keep all of the profits for themselves and a third guy works underneath them and has a special agreement with them."

"I suggest that they remove themselves form management and hire a whole new staff to run the company."
