"The autonomy to test marketing strategies and see the effects it has on the growth of my business. I also enjoy mentoring new employees and training them on the best methods of running this business and watching them get promoted."

"Ask lots of questions about how the business is run because many times managers are so busy with daily tasks they forget to train. The sooner you know how to do many things well, the better prepared you are to take on the challenge of management."

"Once you get to a certain position, the growth factor plateaus and the job can become uninspiring. I counter this by challenging myself to teach my employees something new or find methods to gain new customers."

"Train your employees the successful processes of what a manager does to maximize efficiency and profits. This method creates loyal employees who will work harder for you. I train all my employees on what I do on a daily basis so that when I'm not available they know exactly what they need to do."
