"The company was a terrible place to work. They wasted money on perks like specialized coffee machines on two kitchen areas for each floor and catered lunches while people were constantly getting laid off. Even before the Snowden affair, they had issues with impropriety and almost were banned for life from bidding on Air Force contracts. Their business model had internal groups competing for contracts, so as one group would be laying people off another group would be hiring others with the same skills. They only cared about money."
"All these remarks are based sadly on my client site."
"I have limited experience in company due to being hired with intention to win contract that in fact we failed to win. They had other opportunities but none that suited where I wanted to go."
"I've worked at Booz Allen Hamilton since 2009. It's a great company to work for when you have an assigned task. Since we went public, a lot different changes have occurred and some great benefits were lost. Also one can be lost if they don't have a project and your career manager is not as involved with helping you find a task which can be really stressful because you may end up being laid off for not finding a new task in an allotted time. Overall its a good company to work for."
"Good place. Certain people are better than others. Kind of cut throat but an overall positive experience."
"Overall a decent place to work, but much better if you live in the Baltimore MD, or Washington D.C. ares."
"Hard to get promoted within the Go Team. Do not get a job on the Go Team (internal team)."
"I've worked for Booz Allen for over 5 years. Good company, but crowded at the top."
"Worked at BAH since 2008 and have had steady progress and training."
"In general a whole bunch of promises. If you are not hired directly to a team you have to find your own job within the company regardless of the promises made to you at time of hire..If you have nobody looking out for you, it's difficult to be successful with BAH. Skills have very little to do with it. Being marketable and billable is all that counts with BAH...."
"I have worked for the company for over 3 years and have seen a lack of interest from many different employees due to poor management decisions and ability to grow with the company."
"I've worked for Booz Allen since 2012. They offered great opportunities more than what I expect of. They strongly support employees with a large resources such as remote delivery, payroll, benefits, and more."
"Good firm. Lost contracts have hampered its position in the industry, however it remains an excellent employer."
"The firm has suffered since going public, as well as since the Snowden incident. However, it is still a strong, professional firm with an excellent future."
"I've worked with Booz Allen Hamilton for two years. The turn over rate is very high."
