I have been directly involved with our National Security Agency client during my tenure. Booz Allen has given me the opportunity to work very sensitive, highly important, mission driven projects, which we delivered to the client on-time and under budget. Booz is top notch and I’m fortunate to work for them."

"Watch out for having to work excessive hours without compensation. Negotiate with this in mind."

What don't you like about working at Booz Allen Hamilton?

"Management was not willing to receive suggestions regarding best practices and risk of decisions which they made. Which, by the way, those decisions took forever to make. Then even those decisions would change at the last minute, causing increased stress for all concerned."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be better listeners. Be honorable. Take suggestions into reasonable consideration. Act on reason and best practices based on solutions presented by experts. This creates a margin for error and reduces stress for all concerned parties, ultimately ending in successful outcomes."

"Never knowing if your contract will receive additional funding. I guess all contractors go through this. Managers are so busy, they don't have time for adequate career counseling for staff."
