"Get as many certifications as they will allow you to go after in the first year. It's hard to get away after the first year."

"Difficult to transfer to different locations. It all depends on projects and contract awards."

"Do not micro-manage so much. Allow your staff to use their creativity and experience to bring fresh ideas."
