"A very corporate-oriented company. Be ready to express a willingness to do more than what you are paid for and spend lots of extra and unpaid time at work."

What don't you like about working at Booz Allen Hamilton?

"Part of management's evaluation of employees is based on the employees' abilities to ask for help when need. However, when employees seek help, they are ignored by management. The company also firmly expects that each employee will work for the company outside of their normal duties and 40-hour work week, as an expression of professionalism. It is often threatened that employees that don't work above and beyond what they are paid for will be asked to leave. Daily schedules are micromanaged. They tout diversity but treat the organization like a fraternity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to and respond to employees. Professionals get paid for their work so pay them for it. Lighten up on the time keeping. College is over so leave the fraternity behind. Time to grow up."
