"Personality matters. If you are looking for just another job, then this isn't a good fit. Boeing is a company that offers you a career with a lot of mobility and growth potential. If change scares you, then it will be a struggle."

What don't you like about working at Boeing?

"Cycles of lay-offs. While never impacted because it is a manufacturing company with strong unions, it was difficult during union contract negotiations and during mfg. slow-downs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Continue to help people move around to get exposed to a large company and multiple systems. Continue to keep their career goals in mind. Make reviews more meaningful instead of just a task to be accomplished."

"It's a good place to work. Managers and Lead Engineers are understanding of the challenges you face and willing to discuss your work with you and listen to become aware of progress and the risks new projects have."

"There are a great deal of new major projects and this requires one to be really flexible to upper management changes in priority."

"Focus on completing a single set of goals for the company's future."
