"Look at the position and understand what you will be doing and the type of job duties that you will be asked to perform, and be able to do them."

"Some middle management staff are not leadership material, do not apply themselves to take care of business as they should."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The company needs to focus more on having direct shop floor (first level) leadership, where the supervisor or manager is competent, takes care of the production needs at his level. Too many lazy and incompetent supervisors."

"A good company with great benefits, tuition reimbursment and a lot of opportunities for advancment."

"It takes about three months to get hired into Bell Helicopter Textron, even if you were a previous employee."

"There is nothing special I did not like, when I was working for Bell Helicopter Textron."

"Work with your employees and help them advance if that is what their goals are."

"I didn't like the rift between Technicians and Engineers, nor did I appreciate the lack of respect I received in trying to get things done."

"Union controlled so I had to clock in by the minute."

"Be more flexible, not everyone has their degree but did an excellent job like me as my Super. Wanted to keep me permanent."
