"I've worked for Banctec for over a year now, the company show a clear lack uncaring attitude for their employees, at least in the branch I work in. Not only must we use old and faulty equipment, we are all given more work than we can handle, forcing us to give up our days so we can work on the excess jobs. I would not recommend working for Banctec to anyone."

What do you like about working at BancTec?

"It was my introduction to Corporate America, and it gave me the experience I needed to work successfully within a large company. I learned many skills that still serve me well today."

What don't you like about working at BancTec?

"Executive level/upper management was often inaccessible. New policies were often slow to be implemented, and occasionally implemented poorly. Employee perks (holiday parties, company picnics, etc.) were gradually phased out during my tenure there due to a loss of profitability; understandable, but sad."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Since the division of the company I worked for no longer exists, I'm not sure if I have any suggestions or constructive criticism that would be pertinent at this point."

"Compensation was fair, benefits adequate. District manager was supportive as upper management allowed."

"If you have no other prospects, take it but don't stop looking."

What don't you like about working at BancTec?

"Pressure to meet SLA'S intense. Unrealistic promises are made to customers. Machine stats are to be submitted daily and a detailed report required for any decline no matter the reason. Management is inept at best and browbeat very competant technicians fot no discenable reason."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You have very competant and talented technicians. They deserve better than an atmosphere of fear. Price you product realisticly so a reasonable profit can be made without cutting corners. Stop promising things to customers that you know you can't delivrr."

"I was able to use my degree earned from tech school to have my first career."

"The people that I worked with were great and I still have interaction with them after five years of being out of that position."

"The financial industry was beginning to decline, so I needed to look for another career."

"You need to provide the engineers with the proper training, tools, and trust to get allow them to get the job done."

"The management was very good and my co-worker as well but, the some of the administrative processes such as parts ordering call up dates time entering was lacking"

"to revamp the way some of the administrative processes are handled"
