What do you like about working at BancTec?

"Pretty much everything: I started as a Field Computer Engineer, so I've spent very little time at the office. The amount of work was very intensive, therefore provided room for continuous learning. I was promoted to an Office Service Manager in a very short time, and I was blessed to manage up to 12 Field Service Engineers."

What do you like about working at BancTec?

"I needed a position at the time and it was there. It let me get back into the physical IT management of a major bank. (wachovia)"

What don't you like about working at BancTec?

"I would go there and correct problem only after they diagnosed it over the phone. I would never get that information and all that would be there is a part to be changed. I would have perfereed to make an additional diagnostic and recommendation to the system."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A more proactve and systematic approch. Have a listing of all the branches and have a tech go to them once or twice a month. Then open the cases there and get them resolved"

"Ability to gain experience in computers, management and customer service"

"Be honest, ready to work."

"Travel and was outside my field of study"

"Freedom to do the job. People I worked with, David Beck was a good manager and worked wellwith everyone"

"Protect yourself at all times, because if its the FSE againist the customer Banctec will come down on the customers side and you'll be out. so protect yourself at all times"

What don't you like about working at BancTec?

"Banctec as a company doesn't care about their Field Service Tech, I wish I still worked there, but I also wish they would have supported or stood up for me"

"for regional manager in las vegas , Swearing and yelling at employees at first meeting is uncalled for and unprofessional , simply state what you find acceptable from each employee or the field service team, adult FSE will understand, as most are eger to work long, hard and without question"
