"Be ready for situational type questions and for your interviewer to be taking notes constantly. They are just filling corporate's application requirements."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"I dislike the restrictions and changes being implemented in the sales process, and the fact that e-commerce is slowly replacing many of the responsibilities the position used to have."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop changing the program and approach a salesman has towards B2B. The customers are confused on how to even deal with B2B compared to retail and e-commerce."

"It could have been a good opportunity, but I had a knee injury while employed."

"It can be a good opportunity. Just ask questions prior to employment with them."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"I did not like it. I applied for B2b and was asked to start in retail, although I had five years B2B prior. I was placed in a Spanish-speaking area and only Spanish-speaking reps were successful. It was not a good experience."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't allow Spanish-speaking customer service reps to take sales from sales reps just because the sales rep doesn't speak Spanish."

"Interesting change to go from the medical field to Corporate America, but I learned a lot to apply to my own life."

"As always, I like working with the public! I like learning about the whole technical aspect of the cellular realm!"

"If you are a people person you will be very successful! You must be willing to work long hours and holidays, but they are a very respectable company and offer great benefits!"

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"I dislike black-out dates (no vacation, time-off requests, etc.) from Novemeber to January!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Changing commission structures too much will make your commission-based employees lose their initiative - pressured to sell MORE, but paid LESS."
