"I like getting to work with new phones and understanding how they operate."

"If they are just looking for something temporary or to get some years as a tech, they would need a degree and knowledge in computers."

"The company does not recognize those whose skills are above being on the phone."

"The management needs to hire for other positions and not just for tech, which has very low pay."

"I liked the opportunity to learn the cellular industry and being able to work with phones, PDAs, and aircards hands on. The pay was good also."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"I dislike the hours of the industry. Things are based on seniority. In my two years working, my seniority went down instead of increasing, because a few call centers were closed and the employees relocated to the Greenville call center. For those two years I worked almost every holiday from either volunteering or being drafted."

"Management was under most of the same guidelines as the support reps."

"I dislike the various odd and uncompromising work schedules."

"Be a lot more understanding and compassionate about employees when things happen unexpectedly and they need to take off that day."
