"The food industry wants people that are people friendly. You have to be able to sell yourself to the management because if you can't sell yourself, then you won't be able to sell their product either."

"The is a lack of accomplishment recognition problems at Wendy's. Many of the upper management will come in and explain what's wrong that you're doing, without explaining what you're doing right so you know what to keep doing."

"You have to let your people know they did something good. It's the management's responsibilities to encourage the growth of the skills of their employees. Many times some employees will become discouraged because they don't feel like what they do is being recognized unless it's bad."
