"I have worked with Wendy's for 28 years. It is a wonderful company with many opportunities for those who wish to rise up the ranks. I would definitely encourage anyone who wishes a great career to apply to this company."
"I've been with Wendy's on both the franchise side and currently the corporate side. I've totaled about 15 years in the quick service business with 11 of those years in the management field. They are a company who holds true to the values that Dave Thomas entrusted to his employees many years ago. They are a company focused on quality and cleanliness more than any other company I've ever worked for or have known of."
"Don't work for Wendy's if you can avoid it in any way."
"Working at Wendy's is an ok job; however, it isn't a glamorous or fun job."
"I only worked there 7 months, it was a nice environment, good people to work with and not a bad thing to really say about anyone. I was trained properly and did my best in the work I did. I had a fall out with a manager who really just told people her view on their work and criticized too much."
"Amazing place to start work."
"I have worked for Wendy's since November, 2011. I have learned leadership and continued excellent customer service skills. I am a very reliable employee. I am a team worker. I work hard and get the job done. I have became very close to regular customers and know just what they want and how they want their meal. Wendy's is a great place to work if your future is in restaurant management. I have been offered a position as shift supervisor several times. Unfortunately this position is not for me."
"Good company with a strong future."
"Great experience, need more growth."

What don't you like about working at Wendy's?
"How impersonal the company was itself. No matter what you did it was never good enough. No matter how fast you could do a job it was not fast enough. I also worked there for four years and the company was always finding ways around giving employee raises. When I was promoted to crew trainer there was nothing in return and when I was promoted to a shift manager they tried saying you couldn't get a raise when all other promotions got raises."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To care for their employees and not treat them like they don't care. The owners sat in their office and didn't really do anything except yell at the stores when something went wrong, when the situation could have been handled by them way beforehand."

What don't you like about working at Wendy's?
"Managers are ignorant and inefficient, employees suffer from bad management and lack of incentive. Work is grueling and stressful in a terrible environment. The terrible environment is poorly air conditioned and the work involves lifting heavy objects and standing for hours on end. You can work for 4-5 hours without a chance to move from a 5 foot position of where you are standing due to the amount of customers and your need for fresh product or providing service. There is no incentive to do well, only incentive to not do terrible. Pay is terrible and includes an insulting 10 cent raise every six months. Extra jobs are assigned mainly to male employees due to heavy lifting and intense strain. No time to complete all your goals and you end up getting yelled at for doing a good job by taking time. Unrealistic expectations of too much work for one person done more impressively than humanly possible in less time than a blink of the eye."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More employees, having just one more employee would make all the difference, paying another cheep minimum wage worker to contribute to the happiness of all would make a difference, and take several unfair loads for which even unskilled workers are underpaid for. One employee would make each day so much easier, save money by getting everyone out on time as well and a better job done. Reward for good actions instead of just punish for mediocrity. I have no incentive to do well as a crew member, only incentive not to to do terrible."
What do you like about working at Wendy's?
"I enjoy an environment that allows multi-tasking skills to be used in making customers happy."
