Contrary to popular opinion, I do not think being a Sales Associate is worth $15, especially if you're new to it. I can see a seasoned Sales Associate who is very experienced and very good at it could make that much, but not the average associate. It's not a pleasant job and it is very demanding, but it does not require a whole lot of skills or knowledge. I mean, you don't have to go to university to learn how to be a sales associate."
