"Small business size, happy customers, good tips, easy to learn system."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very careful. The owner believes that all employees should be perfect and experienced by your third day working. If you don't click immediately with the perfectionists there, the coworkers will undoubtedly gossip and it may cost you your job."
What don't you like about working at Silvia's Kitchen?
"Work environment is un-stimulating, coworkers are snobby and overbearing, owner is overly judgmental and unforgiving."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The owner relies on your coworker's assessment of you, rather than her own experience with you. The owner is never around the restaurant herself to watch you work, but she will make decisions about your job based on what the other waitresses think. It's an unfair and biased form of supervision. Suggestions would be to fire the arrogant waitresses, and have the owner take responsibility for job decisions."
What do you like about working at Zio's Italian Kitchen?
"nothing really I hated every single thing and I didnt even wear my seatbelt to work hoping I would die on my way"

"they would hire anyone really that explains why most servers and kitchen staff were complete idiots"

"managers didnt seem to care much actually managers were terrible"

"make sure that servers get proper training and notepads to write orders on"

"There are not many things that I don't like about the company. The company has done nothing wrong to me and has helped me keep a part-time job throughout college."

"Better training of new employees and better communication to ensure problems are fixed."
