"UPS is a very capable company, I've even been told it is on the Fortune 500 list. The work I was doing was difficult yet stable, the management staff were competent, and the hours weren't excessive."

"Working at the UPS store was one of the best things that can happen to me as a full-time college student. I was treated well, enjoyed learning everything there is to run the place, as well as spending quality time on holiday gatherings with my co-workers. I learned what good management really meant. This started as soon as my fellow co-workers (a married couple) decided to buy the store from the old owners and completely transformed the way they treated us as employees (mainly because they experienced how it was as a ground-level employee), which gave me hope in managers using new and better techniques to help employees feel appreciated at the workplace. As a result, my co-workers, and new hires, loved their job and performed at even higher levels."

"I essentially just worked as a seasonal worker during the holiday season. I was offered the opportunity to stay and grow within the company, but it wasn't the direction I was hoping to build a career in."

"This is a highly active job that requires precision and accuracy the first time. Definitely a job that keeps you going and ranges from very fast-paced to moderately paced and can get dirty and hot."

"I have worked for UPS for one week. I have found that the company is built around building safety which is paramount to the company operation. The first week class teaches the new hires what it takes to become a good loader and how to safety work through the system."
